1. 56th Korea Modern Literature Translation Award Now Open
   The Korean Literature Translation Institute launched the 56th annual translation award. Divided into Poetry and Fiction/Play categories, the award offers up to ₩7 million in prizes.
   Submissions close in late August, with winners announced in October.
2. “The Pain Chasers” by Jung Ji-don Sold to Algonquin Books
